Greg Dickinson, CEO

Greg has an exceptional track record of driving innovation and revenue within the software and technology space. In addition, he brings extensive experience in and knowledge of supply base management to Hiperos.

Under Greg’s leadership, Hiperos has established itself as one of the premier solutions in the supply base management space.

Prior to co-founding Hiperos, Greg was the CEO of Venafi, an encryption management software company.  Greg came to Venafi from Ariba, where he was the Senior Vice President of North American Sales for Ariba and a member of the CEO’s management committee. In this role, Greg oversaw a 90 person organization with a budget of $50 million. Greg joined Ariba in 1997 when it was a start-up with less than $ 1 million in revenue. Greg was instrumental in building Ariba’s B2B marketplace that generated over $50 million in revenue, in transforming its sourcing offering to gain a 50% increase in market share, and in leading global sales of its consulting services business to drive an 80% increase in revenue. When Greg left Ariba in 2004, he was part of the executive team responsible for managing a $200 million company.

Greg began his professional career as a founding member of PCNet, Inc. a computer reseller. A true visionary, Greg helped launch PCNet’s first Internet product and became a sought after expert on doing business on the web.

Greg served in the United States Air Force where he was the recipient of both the Air Force Commendation Medal and Humanitarian Award. He holds a Masters degree in Information Systems from Pace University and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Southern Connecticut State. 

 

John Abbatico, CTO

John has more than twenty years of experience in software development, sales, and services. He has worked at market leaders like SAP, Oracle, and Ariba, and brings a deep understanding of building software solutions to Hiperos.

As the technology leader for Hiperos, John has overseen the development of one of the most comprehensive and flexible solutions in the supply base management space.

Prior to co-founding Hiperos, John was a Director of Innovations at SAP. In this role, John oversaw a 40 person team of local and off-shore resources and served as a field CTO working alongside customers and sales to develop new solutions for the SAP portfolio. Before joining SAP, John was Vice President of Solutions at Venafi where he was responsible for pre-sales, services, and support for this encryption management software start-up. While at Venafi, John also led the engineering team during the development of a new product line. John was instrumental in evaluating the company’s long-term potential and assisting the CEO in positioning the company for an asset sale.

Prior to Venafi, John spent more than five years with Ariba. John joined Ariba as an application engineer supporting the marketplace solution and ultimately led the pre-sales team that was responsible for sales strategy, account reviews, and product demonstrations and supporting a $250 million revenue target. As Director of Field Engineering, John developed several new products for Ariba including its contract management solution.

John also spent six years at Oracle. While at Oracle, he worked in a variety of roles including software design team leader of a group of over 200 people that developed a distribution system for a leading US steel manufacturer. John started his software engineering career at General Electric designing cutting edge nuclear propulsion systems.

John has Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Nuclear Engineering from Penn State University. He also completed course work towards his Masters in Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

 

Mark DeLuca, Vice President of Sales

Mark has spent over two decades in the enterprise software market.  As both a leader and an individual contributor, Mark has had a meaningful impact on the growth of several companies that created new markets, including Aravo, Ariba, and PeopleSoft.

At Hiperos, Mark is responsible for driving our revenue growth and building a world-class sales organization.

Prior to Hiperos, Mark built and ran the Eastern Region sales team at Aravo, the first Supplier Information Management software company.  At Aravo, Mark’s team increased Aravo's company-wide subscription revenue by over 75%.  Prior to Aravo, Mark was a senior manager in Accenture's business process outsourcing sales organization.

Before joining Accenture, Mark spent seven years at Ariba, where he was consistently one of the top producing account executives.  Prior to Ariba, Mark was at PeopleSoft. Mark’s sales career started at ADP where over his 12 year tenure he made President’s Club every quota carrying year.

Mark holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and English from Rutgers College. 

 

Eliot Madow, Director of Client Services

Eliot has over thirty years of experience in supply management, outsourcing, supply chain, IT strategy, information systems design and development, and engineering.

At Hiperos, Eliot is responsible for ensuring the overall satisfaction of all our customers by overseeing implementation, training, and support.

Eliot came to Hiperos from Expense Management Solutions, Inc., a premier provider of sourcing and outsourcing advisory services specifically for corporate shared services such as real estate management. Prior to Expense Management Solutions, Eliot owned his own consulting practice from which he provided supply management and IT professional services for a variety of public and private clients. His earlier experience includes positions of CIO for global supply chain operations of an international specialty chemical company, and VP of professional services for several consulting organizations.

Eliot has published articles for magazines including Supply and Demand Chain Executive and Start Magazine, and has presented at conferences and webinars on topics ranging from supplier relationship management and supplier diversity to supply chain visibility, strategic sourcing, and spend analysis. Eliot is a member of the Institute of Supply Management and has earned the qualification of “Certified Professional in Supply Management” (CPSM). He is currently an adjunct professor of supply chain and operations management at Northeastern University in Boston.

Eliot holds degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University.  

 

Doug Udoff, Director of Business Development

Doug has spent his entire 20-plus year career in the software industry. His remarkable experience in services at Oracle, Ariba, and Misys have given him the opportunity to work with such notable companies as AT&T, Allied Signal, JM Huber, Merck, Bristol Myers Squibb, Merrill Lynch, DuPont, and Verizon.

Prior to joining Hiperos, Doug was Vice President of Services at Misys, a UK-based software company. While at Misys, Doug oversaw a team of 550 consultants that produced $125 million in annual revenue. Doug was recruited to join Misys as part of a turn-around team and charged with transforming it from a regionally-oriented structured to a global delivery model.

Doug spent more than ten years at Oracle during two tenures. Just before joining Misys, Doug was Group Vice President responsible for the North American consulting supply organization – a group with 3,000 consultants. Doug also played an integral part in integrating PeopleSoft’s consulting business with Oracle’s. Doug was selected to be one of 34 participants in Oracle’s first executive leadership training program. Before joining Ariba, Doug was a Senior Practice Director for the New Jersey region.

Doug first left Oracle to start the Eastern Region services team at Ariba shortly after it entered the market. In just two years, Doug built a 40 person consulting team. Doug eventually became Vice President of North American services overseeing an important profit center for the company.

Doug holds a Bachelors of Arts in Computer and Informational Sciences from University of Delaware.
