Webster Bank benefits from Hiperos and Dun & Bradstreet strategic relationship
Hiperos and D&B integration delivers rich solution to vendor risk management team
SOUTHBOROUGH, Massachusetts –July 13, 2011 – Hiperos, LLC, a provider of on-demand software for extended enterprise management, announced today that Webster Bank (Nasdaq: WBS) will be taking advantage of a strategic relationship between Hiperos and Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE:DNB).
"Using the Hiperos system has enabled us to significantly improve our processes to assess and gain visibility of the risk inherent in our supplier base,” said Anders Lillevik, Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer at Webster Bank. “The integration of D&B’s Supplier Risk data with Hiperos will dramatically enhance the comprehensive risk profiles of our key relationships.”
Through the Hiperos and D&B relationship, Webster will benefit from a cleansed vendor master file enriched with information collected through Hiperos and data provided by D&B (e.g. Debarment Indicator, Supplier Evaluation Risk (SER) score, Severe Risk Indicator, and Paydex.) The combination of Hiperos functionality and D&B data allows Webster to continuously monitor risk and automatically initiate business processes that mitigate risk.
“We are excited that Webster Bank is able to take advantage of our relationship with D&B,” said Greg Dickinson, CEO of Hiperos. “D&B supports our vision that clients have actionable information from reliable sources – information that delivers a clear picture about each provider.”
Looking ahead, Webster can also leverage other aspects of the relationship between Hiperos and D&B, including access to information on diversity, green, and corporate linkages.
